Benefits of Soaking Feet soles

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (ICM), the soles are the starting point and the end of the sixth meridian. There are more than 60 acupuncture points on the soles of the feet associated with the gall bladder, bladder, stomach, spleen, liver, and kidneys.

Soaking the feet in warm water can help open the blocked meridians and improve circulation throughout the body. Many people benefit by immersing their feet in warm water, but not everyone understands when the right time to soak the feet and some details that need to be known to be associated with a foot soak.

Soaking the feet in the evening to strengthen the kidneys and sleep more soundly

According to the theory of PTT, soaking feet at about 21:00 was the best time to improve kidney energy because at the time the kidney energy is at its lowest point. Soaking the feet will make blood vessels dilate and increase blood circulation. It can relax the whole body and reduces fatigue from a busy day dramatically. Soaking the feet also adds to the quality of sleep. After soaking the feet, massage the acupuncture points Yong Quan (KI 1) located at the bottom of the foot (see picture) for a few minutes. This massage helps regulate kidney energy. After soaking the feet in the evening, you should not move too much, try to go to sleep, and you will definitely sleep soundly.

Soaking the feet in the morning to raise energy

Another good time to soak the feet in the morning. Sleeping with a fixed position throughout the night, will make blood flow smoothly. Soaking the feet in the morning helps regulate the nervous system and the endocrine system. In no time, you'll feel refreshed and ready for work.

The time required to soak the feet

Soak feet for 20 to 30 minutes. Water not too hot or too cold. Roughly the temperature was 38 ° C. We recommend using a bucket of wood, not metal because metal will make the water too cold fast. Pour enough water to cover your ankles.

Add Chinese herbal

Add some root Dang Gui (Angelica sinensis) or root Dan Shen (Salvia miltiorrhiza). Add fresh ginger will help prevent the flu. If you suffer from arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis) may be able to add a few pieces of cinnamon, black pepper, and Hong Hua into the water. Adding flowers Chrysanthemums or Xia Ku Cao will help lower your blood pressure.
